Livia's Novelties Soaps are made with a glycerin soap base. We do not make these from scratch. However, there are some fun things that can be done with glycerin soap and we decided to create a few for your enjoyment.

A few facts about glycerin soap:

Glycerin soap IS NOT all natural.  I know a lot of web sites make that claim, but it isn't true.  To add to the confusion there are numerous glycerin soap bases out there.  Most of them are mainly synthetic ingredients with some pretty harsh additives.  We have found a glycerin base that has only two synthetic ingredients, and those two are not too bad. We have listed the ingredients of our base below for you to see.  The synthetic ingredients are in red.   At Daily Blessings Farm, we believe in being truthful and letting you know what you are getting.

Glycerin Soap Base Ingredients:

Coconut Oil,  Palm Oil,  Castor Oil,  Safflower Oil, Glycerine (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide,  Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifier),  Soybean protein (conditioner)  May also contain Goat Milk and Titanium Dioxide when Goat Milk  Base is used. Also note that if you choose a fragrance-scented soap, the fragrance is synthetic.  Essential oil scents are natural.
